Transform your smile
with custom veneers
Chipped, stained, or uneven teeth can hold you back, but the fix doesn’t have to feel complicated. Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front of your teeth, covering what bothers you and leaving the rest alone. At Saint City Dental, we customize every set to reflect your natural appearance, not hide it.
We’re on West 7th, a few minutes from Highland Park and Macalester-Groveland. Before anything gets prepped, you’ll know what our St. Paul veneers can do for your teeth and what they can’t.

What veneers
can fix
Veneers work best on front teeth that bother you but are structurally sound. They’re a good match for:
- Deep stains that whitening can’t lift
- Chipped edges and enamel worn thin over time
- Small gaps you’d rather not close with braces
- Teeth that sit slightly crooked or rotated
- Teeth that look short or uneven beside their neighbors
- Teeth that are oddly shaped or undersized
If a tooth is cracked, decayed, or heavily filled, we’ll talk about a crown instead.
Are you a
good candidate?
Veneers ask a few things of your teeth before we start planning a case.
- Healthy gums and no active decay
- Enough enamel left to bond to
- A bite that isn’t steadily wearing your teeth down
- Clenching under control, or a nightguard in place to manage it
- Goals for the finished look that we’ve talked through together
If you grind at night, we’ll sort that out before any veneers go on. We never pressure you into treatment, and waiting is always a fine answer.
What to expect with
veneers
Here’s how a veneer case usually runs, from the first appointment to the finished smile.
- A design consultation to plan the look you want
- Digital scans instead of goopy impressions
- A digital smile preview, plus a trial smile in many cases
- Minimal enamel reduction where the case requires it
- Same-day milling here, or a lab-crafted set, depending on the case
- Final veneers bonded, polished, and checked against your bite
How long veneers last,
and how to care for them
Porcelain veneers commonly last 10 to 15 years or longer, while composite tends to run shorter. What you do at home matters as much as the material.
- Brush and floss the way you always have
- Keep your regular cleanings so we can check the margins
- Wear a nightguard if you grind or clench
- Skip chewing ice, pen caps, and fingernails
- Remember that veneers don’t whiten, so the teeth around them can shift shade
