Saint City Dental is rooted in the community and built on relationships. What started as Dr. Bob Maley Family Dentistry is now a welcoming dental home where patients of all ages feel heard, cared for, and truly known.

We believe great dentistry is about more than teeth. It’s about trust, comfort, and communication. That’s why our team takes time to listen, educate, and make every visit a partnership in care.

Dr. Ben Thomas

A lifelong St. Paul resident, Dr. Ben Thomas is proud to care for the community that raised him. He joined Dr. Bob Maley Family Dentistry in 2016 and became the owner in 2021. For Dr. Thomas, dentistry is about more than oral health. It’s about trust, connection, and building relationships that last for generations.

He strives to empower patients through open communication and collaborative treatment planning. Known for his calming presence, he especially enjoys helping anxious patients feel at ease and confident in their care.

Dr. Cassi McCarthy

Dr. Cassi McCarthy blends small-town roots with big-city expertise. A Wisconsin native and graduate of the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, she brings broad clinical experience, including complex procedures. After practicing in Omaha and Iowa, she’s proud to now serve the St. Paul community at a practice that shares her patient-first philosophy.

Dr. McCarthy is known for her warm, approachable style and emphasis on communication. She enjoys educating patients, creating personalized care plans, and occasionally humming while she works. Her goal is to build lifelong relationships rooted in trust, comfort, and shared decision-making.

Dr. Rachel Carpino

Originally from Kansas City, Dr. Rachel Carpino was drawn to Saint City Dental for its upbeat team culture and shared focus on compassionate, judgment-free care. With experience in both public and private settings, she brings a thoughtful, prevention-first approach to dentistry, empowering patients to feel confident and comfortable at every visit.

Dr. Rachel believes great oral health starts with great teamwork. A former college athlete and now a track coach, she treats each patient like a partner in care, always listening, educating, and building treatment plans together.
